The next regular meeting of Algonquin Highlands Council takes places this Thursday, May 1 commencing at 9 a.m. You can view the agenda, which includes a link to the livestream, here. 

The County of Haliburton has organized a series of open houses for First Responders Day this Thursday, May 1 and the Township of Algonquin Highlands is inviting the public to attend any of the three Algonquin Highlands Fire Services halls between 3 and 7 p.m. 

Come out, see your neighbours, and help us clean up Dorset on the morning of Saturday, April 26!

The Township of Algonquin Highlands is seeking volunteer coaches for this summer's Stanhope Soccer League!

Please note the Algonquin Highlands Administrative Office at 1123 North Shore Road will be closed Friday, April 18 through Monday, April 21. The office will re-open to the public at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22. The AH Trails Office will also be closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday.

As of Friday, April 11, 2025 - All Frost Centre Hiking trails are CLOSED due to a safety issue on the Frost Centre Property.

All other hiking trails in Algonquin Highlands remain open.
