Algonquin Highlands Council will commence its 2025 Budget discussions with a special Projects and Priorities meeting on Thursday, Nov. 28 at 9 a.m. This is chance for members of Council to hear about potential priority projects for the upcoming year from senior Staff. 

Please note that due to the ongoing Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) strike, the Township of Algonquin Highlands is not receiving mail delivery at this time. Residents are welcome to drop payments off in the secure drop box at the front entrance of the Township of Algonquin Highlands Administrative Office at 1123 North Shore Road.

The next regular meeting of Algonquin Highlands Council takes place Thursday, November 21 starting at 9 a.m. You can find the agenda, including a link to the meeting's livestream broadcast, here.

TAKE NOTICE that there will be a Special Meeting of Council on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at 9:00 a.m.

Please note the Algonquin Highlands Administrative Office at 1123 North Shore Road will be closed on Monday, November 11 in observance of Remembrance Day, re-opening to the public at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, November 12. The Dorset Recreation Centre and AH Trails Office will also be closed for Remembrance Day. 

Please take notice that tenders are invited for the purchase of the lands described here and will be received until 3:00 p.m. local time on November 27, 2024, at the Algonquin Highlands Municipal Office, 1123 North Shore Road, Algonquin Highlands Ontario.
