Please note that the Visitor Help and Revision Centre will be open at the Dorset Recreation Centre on Wednesday, Sept. 16 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Staff will be available to help residents ensure they are on the Voters List, or make any required additions, deletions or corrections. 

Please note that Township maintenance staff will be completing work on the playground at Halls Lake's Elvin Johnson Park on Tuesday, Sept. 15 and on the playground at the Stanhope Park on North Shore Road on Wednesday, Sept. 16. 

Advance tickets for viewing of fall colours at the Dorset Scenic Lookout Tower will be  available for purchase on the AH Trails website as of 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 1.

Please note the Dorset Scenic Lookout Tower will be closed for maintenance operations on the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 1 from approximately 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The park at the Tower property will remain open during this time period, and a 50% discount will be issued for entrance fees during this time. 

Please note reservations for fall colours viewing at the Dorset Scenic Lookout Tower are only required between September 19 and October 25.

Please note that if weather permits, line-painting will take place at the Stanhope multi-purpose court at 1095 North Shore Road on Wednesday, Aug. 5 and Thursday, Aug. 6. The court will be unavailable during these days as this work is performed. 

Please note the Algonquin Highlands Administrative Office will be closed for a portion of the day on Thursday, August 6 (approximately 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) to allow employees to attend a Countywide all-staff meeting. 

Please note that the Algonquin Highlands Administrative Office at 1123 North Shore Road will be CLOSED for the Civic Holiday on Monday, Aug. 3. The office will re-open to the public at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 4. The Dorset Recreation Centre will also be closed on Monday, while the AH Trails Office will remain open. 

Please note that Conversations About Caregiving with Fay Martin, scheduled to take place this evening, Wednesday, July 15, as part of the Oxtongue Lake Speakers Series, has been cancelled.
