The Township has closed its cross-country ski trails at the former Frost Centre following last night's storm. The trails are currently littered with debris, including fallen trees, and rain has diminished the trail bed, creating extremely icy conditions. There are also washouts in many places. 

Take Notice that the Township of Algonquin Highlands has received a complete application to amend the Township’s Zoning By-law. The site specific amendment applies to land located in Part of Lot 28 Concession 4, in the geographic Township of Stanhope, now in the Township of Algonquin Highlands. No civic address has been assigned to the subject lands (see key map).

Please note that half-load restrictions will come into effect on all posted Algonquin Highlands roads on Friday, March 1. Truck drivers are asked to look for and obey signage.

Please note the Township of Algonquin Highlands Administrative Office at 1123 North Shore Road will be closed on Monday, February 19 for Family Day. The office will re-open to the public at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, February 20.
