  • Frost Centre Hiking Trails Closed

    As of Friday, April 11, 2025 - All Frost Centre Hiking trails are CLOSED due to a safety issue on the Frost Centre Property.

    All other hiking trails in Algonquin Highlands remain open. 

  • Late ice-out dates for Haliburton Highlands Water Trails

    Please be advised that all lakes throughout the Haliburton Highlands Water Trails, Frost Centre and Poker Lakes canoe routes areas are currently frozen and ice-out dates are expected to be later than normal - potentially into early May.

  • Frost Centre Ski Trails now closed

    Please note that as of Monday, April 7, the Frost Centre Ski Trails are closed for the season. Thank you to everyone who skied at the Frost Centre this winter, helping to contribute to its success for another year!

    Please note that as of today - Thursday, April 3 - all Algonquin Highlands waste disposals sites have returned to their regular operating hours. You can find site hours and other information here
