Update: Dorset Tower construction project - July 29

Please note construction fencing has now been installed around the Dorset Tower and work has begun on the installation of a lightning strike protection system on the structure. This means that as of today (Tuesday, July 29) visitors are no longer able to to climb the Tower. This construction project is scheduled to conclude Friday, August 8.

The timing of the project facilitated budget approvals, allowed contractors to visit the site, and ensured the work would be completed prior to the peak fall colours season, which is the busiest time of year at the Tower.

In the meantime, the rest of the Tower park property remains OPEN to the public. This includes Peek-A-Boo Rock (which offers its own stunning views), the hiking trail, drinking water refill station and the gift shop. Admission will be discounted by 50 per cent for the duration of the construction project. Thank you for your patience.
