Regular Hours are in effect for all Algonquin Highlands Waste Disposal Sites on Canada Day (July 1)

Maple Lake - Open 10 am to 5 pm
Pine Springs  - Closed
Dorset Transfer Station - Open Noon to 6 pm
Oxtongue Lake - Closed

Please show your PINK landfill ID card.

Pink landfill cards remain in use

Please note that no new Landfill User ID Cards were issued with the 2025 tax bill. Residents are asked to hang onto their pink cards, which are good throughout 2025.

 

Swimming advisory lifted for Elvin Johnson Park

Please note the swimming advisory that was issued for the beach at Halls Lake's Elvin Johnson Park on Thursday, June 26 due to elevated bacteria levels has been lifted. The beach is once again fully open and safe for swimming.
