Swimming Advisory: Elvin Johnson Park

Please note the beach at Halls Lake's Elvin Johnson Park has been posted as temporarily unsafe for swimming by the Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit as of 3 p.m. on the afternoon of Thursday, June 26. The posting does not mean the beach is closed for swimming, however, it does mean water testing has indicated an elevated bacteria count. It is up to the discretion of swimmers whether they choose to enter the water.

The Township will keep residents apprised of any changes in water sampling results at Elvin Johnson Park.
