Significant Weather Event Declaration Lifted - December 30

Please note the Declaration of a Significant Weather Event that was issued by the Township of Algonquin Highlands, the County of Haliburton and its other member municipalities on December 28, 2025, will officially be lifted as of noon on Wednesday, December 30, 2025. 

Municipal workforces will continue to provide maintenance operations. The Township of Algonquin Highlands advises all drivers to please remain a safe distance back from maintenance equipment and drive according to conditions. 

Thanks to Algonquin Highlands Public Works Staff and municipal roads crews across the County for their work during the past couple of days.
