NOTICE: Special Meeting of Council - March 24, 2026

TAKE NOTICE that Council will be holding a Special Meeting at 9:00 AM on Tuesday March 24, 2026 for the purposes of:

1. Proceeding into closed session for the purpose of: 

• receiving advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose, in accordance with section 239(2) (f) of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, as amended; and
• litigation or potential litigation and receiving advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose, in accordance with section 239(2) (e) and (f) of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, as amended; and

2. Continuing the 2026 budget deliberations

The meeting will be held in the Council Chambers located at 1123 North Shore Road, Algonquin Highlands. Members of the Public may also observe Council’s open session proceedings regarding the 2026 budget deliberations by joining a live-stream link. The live-stream link can be found on the meeting Agenda at https://algonquinhighlands.civicweb.net/portal/
