NOTICE: Potential Mail Service Disruption

Canada Post has indicated the possibility of another service disruption in the near future, potentially as soon as May 22.

In the event of a postal strike, residents are responsible for keeping their tax accounts up-to-date to avoid penalty and interest charges. To ensure this, residents can receive their property tax bills electronically by signing up for E-Billing. Residents may also contact the Township to request a copy of their tax bill in person by calling the Tax Department at 705-489-2379 or emailing taxes@algonquinhighlands.ca

Payments can be made in person at the Township of Algonquin Highlands Administrative Office at 1123 North Shore Road between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday,  or by using online or telephone banking or the E-Commerce Portal on the Township website which offers a number of electronic payment options, including for property taxes.
