Date: September 25, 2025

Re: Russell Landing Retaining Wall and Parking Area Rehabilitation

This is a notice of construction and service disruption for the Russell Landing, including the retaining walls and public parking area, situated at the westerly shoreline of Kawagama Lake at 1518 Russell Landing Road.

This rehabilitation work is in keeping with the Townships Asset Management Plan and more specifically for the purpose of improving the physical features of the site - being the retaining wall structure and parking infrastructure.

Dates of Construction will commence as follows:

· October 6, through to November 28th, 2025.

NOTE: Effective October 14th – Access to the main docking area will be closed and secured to accommodate the intended construction work in this immediate area.

Hours of Construction will include the following:

· Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

· No weekend work is scheduled.

During construction, access to the public parking area and retaining wall will be unavailable. Users should consider and plan for limited use and access during the above timelines.

Any privately owned boats, equipment or vehicles in the public parking area or at the docks must be removed by the Owner prior to the start of the intended work.

The construction zone will be clearly delineated and secured in advance of the project start-up with construction type fencing.

Appropriate measures will be employed for an expeditious and seamless process. Should you require further information, please do not hesitate to contact the undersigned.

On behalf of the Township of Algonquin Highlands please accept our sincere gratitude for your patience and understanding as we effectively and efficiently conduct the rehabilitation work for this municipal project.
