  • Family Day hours at AH facilities

    Please note the Algonquin Highlands Administrative Office at 1123 North Shore Road will be closed on Monday, February 17 for Family Day, re-opening to the public on Tuesday, February 18 at 8 a.m.

  • End of Declaration of Significant Weather Event

    The significant weather event declared by the Township of Algonquin Highlands on February 12, 2025, has been lifted as of February 13, 2025, at 4 p.m.

    Environment Canada has issued a Winter Storm Warning with the following weather hazard(s) for our region on February 12, 2025, at 10:47 a.m.

  • EV Charging station temporarily out of service

    The EV charging station at 1123 North Shore Rd. (Township of Algonquin Highlands Offices) is temporarily out of service.

  • Outdoor rink open at Stanhope Gardens

    Please note the outdoor rink at Stanhope Gardens (1095 North Shore Road) has been re-opened and is once again available for skating. 

  • Ski trails re-opened - Jan. 7

    Five kilometres of Algonquin Highlands ski trails have been re-opened and are ready for action! See the following trail conditions update: 

  • Holiday hours at Algonquin Highlands facilities

    A reminder that the Algonquin Highlands Administrative Office at 1123 North Shore Road will close for the holiday break at noon on Tuesday, Dec. 24. The office will re-open to the public at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 2 at 8 a.m. Please note the AH Trails Office at 20130 Highway 35 North will be closed for the same time period. 

  • Holiday hours for AH Administrative Office

    Please note the Algonquin Highlands Administrative Office at 1123 North Shore Road will close for the holiday break at noon on Tuesday, Dec. 25. The office will re-open to the public at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 2 at 8 a.m. 

  • Ski trails closed due to rain

    Please note the Frost Centre Ski Trails are currently closed due to rain damage over the past two days. Parks, Rec & Trails crews will be working to shovel snow onto bare areas during the coming days in an attempt to open a 5-km loop for the weekend. The Township will provide an update when trails have been re-opened.
