TAKE NOTICE that there will be a Special Meeting of Council on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.  

The Township of Algonquin Highlands is seeking applications from qualified people for the permanent, full-time position of Sewage System Program Inspector/Administrator. 

Please be advised that the front entrance doors of the Algonquin Highlands Administrative Office (1123 North Shore Road) will be closed for maintenance on Wednesday, November 12 and Thursday, November 13. 

Please note the Algonquin Highlands Administrative Office at 1123 North Shore Road will be CLOSED on Tuesday, November 11 in observance of Remembrance Day. The Dorset Recreation Centre and AH Trails Office will also be CLOSED for the day on Nov. 11. 

Please note that on Wednesday, November 12, the front entrance doors of the Algonquin Highlands Administrative Office at 1123 North Shore Road will be closed for maintenance. During this time, visitors are asked to use the east entrance, located beside the Council Chambers, for entry and exit.

Take Notice that the Township of Algonquin Highlands has received a complete application to amend the Township’s Zoning By-law. The site specific amendment applies to land located in Part of Lot 27 Concession 4, in the geographic Township of Stanhope, now in the Township of Algonquin Highlands. No civic address has been assigned to the subject lands (see key map).

Please note the Special Meeting of Algonquin Highlands Council that had been scheduled for 9 a.m. on Thursday, October 30 regarding the creation of a Parking Plan for the Township has been cancelled. This meeting will be rescheduled at a later date.
