Please note that service has been restored to the public water refill stations at the Stanhope Firefighters' Community Hall, 1095 North Shore Road, and the Township Offices at 1123 North Shore Road. We thank residents for their patience.

HIRING: Trail Technician/By-Law Officer
The Township of Algonquin Highlands is seeking applications from qualified individuals for the existing position of Trail Technician/By-Law Officer. Reporting to the Trails Coordinator, the Trail Technician/By-Law Officer assists the Trails Division with the operation and maintenance of the Haliburton Highlands Water Trails (Frost Centre and Poker Lakes canoe route areas), hiking trails and the Frost Centre ski trails.

Docking & Mooring in Algonquin Highlands
A friendly reminder the Algonquin Highlands Docking & Mooring By-Law specifies that no person shall dock or moor a boat in any municipally owned or operated docking area for a duration of more than 12 hours.

SERVICE DISRUPTION: Public Water Refill Stations
Please note the public water refill stations at the Stanhope Firefighters' Community Hall at 1095 North Shore Road and the Algonquin Highlands Administrative Office at 1123 North Shore Road will be unavailable beginning the evening of Thursday, June 18 through the morning of Friday, June 19.
