A fascinating lineup of speakers is scheduled for the Oxtongue Lake Speakers Series at the Oxtongue Lake Community Centre this summer! 

The next municipal election will be held on Monday, October 26, 2026.  Elections Ontario is now responsible for maintaining the Permanent Register of Elections for Ontario municipal elections. Haliburton County, ON, June 8, 2026 – Beginning today, residents and business owners across Haliburton County are invited to share their ideas about what municipal governments can do today to build a stronger future for our communities.

Catch the fun at this summertime favourite for those aged 16 and under! 

Lloyd Stonehouse has been conducting soapstone carving seminars from coast to coast in Canada as well as internationally since the 1990s. He spends his summer paddling a canoe and offering soapstone workshops. Come and learn how to carve your own sculpture. All tools, stone and supplies are provided.
