Please note the Algonquin Highlands Administrative Office at 1123 North Shore Road will close for the holidays at noon on Wednesday, Dec. 24, re-opening to the public at 8 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 2. The AH Trails Office at 20130 Highway 35 North will also close at noon on Christmas Eve Day, re-opening for regular operating hours on Friday, Jan. 2. Trails will remain open on a weather-dependent basis.

Notice: The Council of the Corporation of the Township of Algonquin Highlands intends to consider the Comprehensive Fees and Charges By-Law for 2026 at its regular meeting to be held December 11, 2025.

We are pleased to announce the Dorset tree-lighting celebration has been rescheduled for Friday, December 12 at 6 p.m. in Centennial Park! Come on out, enjoy some festive cheer . . . and some hotdogs served up by the Dorset Lions! 

The second of AH's 2025 tree-lighting celebrations will take place at Dorset Lions Centennial Park on the evening of Sunday, Nov. 30 commencing at 4:30 p.m.
