Airport Events

The Stanhope Municipal Airport is well known as one of the best recreational airports in Ontario. The Stanhope Municipal Airport Advisory Committee plans and hosts a variety of aviation related events at the airport which draw visitors from near and far by foot, car, bicycle and of course - by plane!

Stanhope and Community Fall Colours Fly-In/Drive-In

The Stanhope and Community Fall Colours Fly-In/Drive-In will take place at the airport on Saturday, Sept. 30!
A day of family fun, among the many attractions will be classic cars and planes, municipal heavy equipment, Algonquin Highlands Fire Services, MNRF helicopters and fire equipment and food from local restaurants! Admission and parking are free. The rain date for this event is Oct. 1. 

Classic Events

All aviators, aircraft, and the public are welcome to stop by for a hearty pancake breakfast. Talk to pilots, aircraft owners, and friends in a cozy outdoor setting while watching all the action on the runway just a few hundred feet away.

Take in the famous and breathtaking Haliburton fall colours by air and stop in for a hot lunch.
