Tree-clearing at Stanhope Municipal Airport
Please note that tree-clearing operations around the runway at the Stanhope Municipal Airport are scheduled to start as early as Tuesday, October 21 and expected to continue for a period of three to four weeks. This is part of routine maintenance at the airport.

Thanksgiving hours at Algonquin Highlands facilities
Please note the Algonquin Highlands Administrative Office at 1123 North Shore Road will be closed on Monday, October 13 for Thanksgiving, re-opening to the public on Tuesday, October 14 at 8 a.m.

The Township of Algonquin Highlands is currently hiring a full-time, permanent Public Works Operator to be based out of the Dorset Yard, as well as two casual Public Works Operators for the upcoming winter season.

NOTICE: Interruption to Canada Post service
Please note that due to the ongoing Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) strike, the Township of Algonquin Highlands is not receiving mail delivery at this time. Residents are welcome to drop payments off in the secure drop box at the front entrance of the Township of Algonquin Highlands Administrative Office at 1123 North Shore Road.

AH waste disposal sites transition to winter hours October 16
Please note that winter hours at Algonquin Highlands waste disposal sites will come into effect starting Thursday, October 16. Summer hours will remain in effect at AH waste disposal sites until that time.
