A reminder that Algonquin Highlands Council will hold 2025 budget deliberations this week, during special meetings on Thursday, Feb. 27 and Friday, Feb. 28. The meetings commence at 9 a.m., respectively. 

Waste disposal sites in Algonquin Highlands will be operating special hours on Family Day, Monday, February 17th.
Pine Spring and Oxtongue Lake will be CLOSED.
Maple Lake and Dorset will be open late, from 12 noon until 3 p.m.

Please note the Algonquin Highlands Administrative Office at 1123 North Shore Road will be closed on Monday, February 17 for Family Day, re-opening to the public on Tuesday, February 18 at 8 a.m.

Take Notice that the Township of Algonquin Highlands has received a complete application to amend the Township’s Zoning By-law. The site specific amendment applies  to land located in Part of Lot 18, Concession 11, in the geographic Township of Sherborne, now in the Township of Algonquin Highlands. The civic address is 1195 Minden Point Trail, Kawagama Lake. (see key map).

A reminder that the Algonquin Highlands Administrative Office at 1123 North Shore Road will close for the holiday break at noon on Tuesday, Dec. 24. The office will re-open to the public at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 2 at 8 a.m. Please note the AH Trails Office at 20130 Highway 35 North will be closed for the same time period.
