Just down North Shore Road, the Stanhope Museum will open its doors for the season from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday! Come and check out this year's exhibits, including one featuring Boshkung Lake's Camp Calumet! Don't forget to ask about the new Haliburton Highlands Heritage Passport.

Up Highway 35, Dorset Heritage Day takes place on the grounds of the Dorset Heritage Museum between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., also on Saturday, June 27. Watch history come alive with some fascinating displays, and for the kids, there's a variety of activities including candle-making, face-painting and five-minute ice cream making!

On Sunday, June 28, the Dorset Arts & Crafts Show happens in the parkette overlooking Lake of Bays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Come and peruse an array of handmade treasures from local artists and artisans, and take something home or to the cottage!
