The County of Haliburton has launched a community-wide Affordability and Governance Structure Study that will look at ways to simplify government processes and provide better value for taxpayers.

Residents and business owners are invited to take this public survey until June 28. There will be a series of public open houses throughout the County in late June, including one at the Dorset Recreation Centre on Thursday, June 25 from 2 to 4 p.m.

Join us for Dorset Heritage Day on the Dorset Heritage Museum grounds on Saturday, June 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There'll be lots to see and do, including numerous unique exhibits, antique automobiles, Uncle Norm's Tractors, plein air artist Harvey Walker, a working replica of an alligator logging boat, and much more!

The Dorset Heritage Museum is located at 1040 Main Street.
