TAKE NOTICE pursuant to Section 7(1) of the Ontario Building Code Act, 1992 empowers Council to pass certain by-laws respecting construction, demolition, change of use, permits, fees and inspections.

TAKE NOTICE that there will be a Special Meeting of Council on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. 

The next regular meeting of Algonquin Highlands Council takes place this Thursday, October 16 commencing at 9 a.m. You can view the agenda, which includes a link to the livestream, here.

The community is invited to the official opening ceremony for the new natural/green burial section of St. Stephen’s Cemetery on Sunday, October 19 at 1 p.m.

Please note that due to the ongoing Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) strike, the Township of Algonquin Highlands is not receiving mail delivery at this time. Residents are welcome to drop payments off in the secure drop box at the front entrance of the Township of Algonquin Highlands Administrative Office at 1123 North Shore Road.
