The County of Haliburton has launched a community-wide Affordability and Governance Structure Study that will look at ways to simplify government processes and provide better value for taxpayers.

Residents and business owners are invited to take this public survey until June 28. There will be a series of public open houses throughout the County in late June, including one at the Dorset Recreation Centre on Thursday, June 25 from 2 to 4 p.m.

Victoria Day Weekend hours at AH facilities

Please note the Algonquin Highlands Administrative Office on North Shore Road will be closed on Monday, May 20 for Victoria Day, reopening to the public on Tuesday, May 21 at 8 a.m.

All Algonquin Highlands waste disposal sites will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, May 20.
