Tree-lighting celebrations in Algonquin Highlands

The community is invited to partake in some festive cheer with the Township's annual tree-lighting celebrations!

The first will take place in Stanhope on Friday, November 28 at 6 p.m. Join us outside the museum (at 1123 North Shore Road beside the AH Administrative Office) for carols and a visit from Santa Claus! The Dorset celebration will happen Sunday, November 30 commencing at 4:30 p.m. in Dorset Lions Centennial Park. Bring your appetite as the Dorset Lions will be serving up hotdogs!

The third and final tree-lighting event will take place at the Oxtongue Lake Community Centre on Saturday, December 6 starting at 6 p.m. For all three celebrations, remember to bring your travel mug to enjoy some hot chocolate!
