Seeking volunteers for spring fly-in at Stanhope Airport

The Stanhope Municipal Airport Advisory Committee is seeking volunteers to assist with a spring fly-in on Saturday, May 24, 2025 to help ensure the event is a soaring success!

Positions include: 

  • Public parking attendants
  • Aircraft ride passenger management 
  • Cook shack (chip, ice cream and pop handouts, BBQ chef, sales)
  • Classic car parking
  • Greeters and info providers

For those with a pilot's licence:

  • Aircraft parking
  • Aircraft ground marshaling 
  • Helicopter ride passenger management 
Fly-ins are a fun way to spend a Saturday, and volunteering just a few hours of your time goes a long way!
