Learn how to spot scams before they happen in this interactive workshop!

Learn how to spot scams before they happen in this program. The Technology Coordinator of the Haliburton County Public Library, Liat Mandel will discuss how scammers use social engineering to gain access to their victims’ information and money. Using realistic examples of scam websites, emails, texts, and phone calls, participants will learn simple and effective ways to protect themselves, identify red flags and spot the scams in their lives.
