The County of Haliburton has launched a community-wide Affordability and Governance Structure Study that will look at ways to simplify government processes and provide better value for taxpayers.

Residents and business owners are invited to take this public survey until June 28. There will be a series of public open houses throughout the County in late June, including one at the Dorset Recreation Centre on Thursday, June 25 from 2 to 4 p.m.

Dorset Recreation Centre closed due to inclement weather

Please note that due the forecasted freezing rain, the Dorset Recreation Centre will close at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 28 and remain CLOSED throughout Monday, December 29. All scheduled programs are cancelled.
