Due to forecasted freezing rain, the Township of Algonquin Highlands has declared a Significant Weather Event as of noon on Sunday, December 28. This means there may be some delay in Township road clearing operations, and that some facilities may close as a result.

The Dorset Recreation Centre is closed as of 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 28 and will remain closed throughout Monday, Dec. 29. All scheduled programs are cancelled.
