Canada Day Fireworks in Algonquin Highlands

With Canada Day falling on a Wednesday this year, it means the lighting of fireworks will be permitted in the Township of Algonquin Highlands on the holiday itself, as well as the preceding and following weekends. 

Under the Township's Fireworks By-Law, the lighting of fireworks will be permitted between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. on the following dates: 

Friday, June 26
Saturday, June 27
Sunday, June 28 

Wednesday, July 1 

Friday, July 3
Saturday, July 4 
Sunday, July 5 

Please note that violating the by-law can result in fines
