The nomination period for the October 26, 2026 municipal election is open! 

The nomination period runs until 2 p.m. on Friday, August 21, 2026. Candidates can file their registration paperwork with the Township of Algonquin Highlands at the Administrative Office at 1123 North Shore Road between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, by appointment only.
