Algonquin Highlands Votes: Voter Information Letters

The Township of Algonquin Highlands would like to advise all eligible electors, on the Voters’ List, that Voter Information Letters for the 2026 Municipal and School Board Election will be mailed on Monday, October 5, 2026.

This letter is required to vote as it has your unique voting PIN and instructions. The voting period opens  at 9:00 AM on October 16 and runs through to 8:00 PM on Voting Day, October 26, 2026. Algonquin Highlands electors can choose to vote online or by telephone.

Electors who have not received their voter letter by October 16, 2026, please contact the Voter Help and Revision Centre at 705-489-2379 or attend the Township Office located at 1123 North Shore Road. Please note electors will need to provide identification showing their name and qualifying address in the Township of Algonquin Highlands to receive a Voter Information Letter.

You can check to see if you are on the Voters’ List and that your information is correct here. 

You will be required to upload acceptable ID (i.e, a driver’s licence) showing your name and qualifying address in Algonquin Highlands. 

PLEASE NOTE: If you are a seasonal resident, you will be required to upload a piece of ID showing your name and qualifying address in Algonquin Highlands (i.e. a tax bill, utility bill etc..) Find a full list of acceptable ID in the FAQ section here.

Voter Help and Revision Centres will open on the following dates, times, and locations:

Township Administration Office - 1123 North Shore Road

• Township Administration Office, Monday to Friday during normal business hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM from September 1, until October 23, 2026 in order to make additions, deletions, and corrections to the Voters List
• Township Administration Office on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM
• October 26, 2026, Voting Day, between the hours of 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Dorset Recreation Centre - 1051 Main Street, Dorset

• 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on the following Wednesdays:
  
  October 7, 2026
  October 14, 2026
• Saturday October 24, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM
• Voting Day, Monday October 26, 2026, between the hours of 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM
