ALGONQUIN HIGHLANDS VOTES: Candidate nominations close Friday, August 21
There are now just more than 48 hours left for candidates to file for the October 26, 2026 municipal election!
The nomination period will close at 2 p.m. this Friday, Aug. 21 - Nomination Day.
Those wishing to file for the election must book an appointment with Clerk/Deputy CAO Dawn Newhook by calling 705-489-2379, Ext. 333 or emailing dnewhook@algonquinhighlands.ca
Paperwork must be filed in person at the AH Administrative Office at 1123 North Shore Road.
AH currently has races for Mayor, and for Councillor positions in Wards 2 and 3!
