The Algonquin Highlands Fireworks Survey has been re-opened. The survey initially closed at the end of July. Council discussed the survey during an August 15 meeting, with the majority of Council members indicating they would prefer to keep Canada Day, and perhaps additional holidays, open for the lighting of fireworks.
Council is hoping for more feedback from the public, and the survey has been re-opened until October 31. Please note that
residents who've already taken the survey will not be able to take it a second time.
Everyone who completes the survey has a chance to win a year-long family pass to the recently re-opened Dorset Recreation Centre! This includes residents who took the survey during the initial time period.
