The County of Haliburton has launched a community-wide Affordability and Governance Structure Study that will look at ways to simplify government processes and provide better value for taxpayers.

Residents and business owners are invited to take this public survey until June 28. There will be a series of public open houses throughout the County in late June, including one at the Dorset Recreation Centre on Thursday, June 25 from 2 to 4 p.m.

Service Disruption

Due to inclement weather and hazardous driving conditions, the Algonquin Highlands Administrative Office at 1123 North Shore Road will close early at 4 p.m. today, Tuesday, Nov. 21. The office will re-open to the public at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 22.
