Algonquin Highlands is in the process of reviewing the Official Plan (OP).
The OP Review process will be built upon a vision and guiding principles focused on where and how the Township of Algonquin Highlands grows. The new OP for the Township of Algonquin Highlands will be based upon a distinct vision for the Township that reflects the need for future growth in the community but protects the natural and historic values that have shaped Algonquin Highlands.
The OP Review process will provide for community discussion about the future of Algonquin Highlands. Community engagement and participation in the process is paramount to the success of this project.
