Construction and Demolition Waste Disposal

In order to support public health recommendations of physical distancing, the Township remains unable to process payments at the landfill which, unfortunately, means we remain unable to accept construction and demolition (C&D) waste. There are other options for the disposal of C&D which include private contractors.

We are actively pursuing alternate, cellular-based payment options and look forward to providing improved service in this regard as soon as practicable.

Septic Re-Inspection Program

Year three of the Septic Re-Inspection Program will be conducted through voluntary participation.  Please be assured that, inspections will be conducted utilizing enhanced hygiene and physical distancing protocols.

WSP Canada will issue notices to property owners within the year three re-inspection area before the end of June 2020.

Property owners who choose to have their re-inspection completed are to contact WSP directly to arrange a date and time. Property owners who do not take part in the program this year will be required to have a re-inspection completed in 2021.

Persons who request a re-inspection this year and fail to be present on the date they pre-arranged with WSP, will be charged a No-Show Inspection Fee in accordance with current practice.

Year 1 and 2 property owners with outstanding remedial action have received notification from the Building Department regarding next steps.
