HHWT Canoeing & Camping Map Guides

The Haliburton Highlands Water Trails offers a map for each of its two management areas, the Frost Centre and the Poker Lakes.  Maps may be available at the following retail locations:

To purchase a HHWT Map directly by mail, send a Cheque (payable to Township of Algonquin Highlands) to 1123 North Shore Road, R.R.#2 Minden, Ontario, K0M 2KO. Please include return mailing address and specify map as “Frost Centre or Poker Lakes Map”.

Map Prices:

Frost Centre Area:  $10.95 + Gst + $1.50 postage = $13.00

Poker Lakes Area:  $8.95 + Gst + $1.50 postage = $10.90

The HHWT Map Guides describe canoe routes and camping opportunities for the 28,000 hectares of crown and municipal lands. The maps are produced by the Haliburton Highlands Water Trails in partnership with the Ministry of Natural Resources.  These Map Guides are the “official” and most up-to-date maps available for the Frost Centre and Poker Lakes Areas.  For up-to-date campsite capacities/restrictions, please go to www.algonquinhighlands.ca

The HHWT Map Guide also includes necessary information about the NEW Campsite Restrictions, HHWT area Rules and Regulations, and other important educational information.
